You must complete a skills test to finish our courses. At the completion of your course, you will receive a provider card and a skills test completion form.

Anyone with a valid American Heart Association or NREMT-approved instructor's credential can perform your skills check. Their instructor credential must be valid and current for the course you are taking, you provide us a copy of the credential.

Following are the actual skills test forms you will use to complete the course. We recommend that you choose and contact your local skill instructor now to find out their availability for this critical portion of your course.

CAPCE (formerly CECBEMS) Accreditation (for EMTs / Paramedics)

This ACLS continuing education activity is approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE).

Our ACLS course is eligible for CEUs through CAPCE. Be sure to fill out the form to apply for CAPCE-approved credits AFTER completing your skill evaluation (you may only obtain your CAPCE-approved credits after completing the entire blended course). You will need to enter additional information, including your EMT license information. The NREMT will accept continuing education and verification of ACLS in programs that are CAPCE or state EMS office approved. The American College of Emergency Physicians has contacted all 50 states regarding state approval of CAPCE-accredited courses. Most states have indicated that CAPCE approval is sufficient. Texas is the biggest exception.

These courses also offer CME/CE credits and are certified by Postgraduate Institute for Medicine. If you are NOT working as an Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic and DO NOT require skill testing, then please take the alternate version of our course at pacificmedicaltraining.com.
